This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?
1. Know the Purpose of the Shoot
• Is it a family session, maternity, milestone (like a birthday), couple’s shoot, or something else?
• Knowing the “why” helps guide outfits, location, and mood.
2. Outfit Tips
• Coordinate, don’t match: Choose colors that go well together instead of everyone wearing the same color.
• Stick to neutrals or earthy tones unless your photographer says otherwise.
• Avoid bold logos, neon colors, and busy patterns — they can distract from your face.
• Wear something comfortable and flattering. If you feel good, you’ll look good.
• Bring backup options for kids or for weather changes if needed!
3. Be On Time
• Natural light changes quickly (especially during golden hour), so showing up on time or a bit early makes a big difference.
• Arriving calm and ready helps everyone feel more relaxed, especially kids.
4. Relax — You Don’t Have to Know How to Pose
• Your photographer will guide you! You don’t need to know what to do with your hands or how to smile “perfectly.”
• The best photos often come from natural moments — laughing, walking, or just interacting with your loved ones.
5. Kids? No Problem.
• Don’t stress if your little ones don’t “cooperate.” Photographers are used to this and can capture great moments in between the chaos.

Are the travel expenses included in your packages?
Travel expenses aren’t included in the base package, but I can provide a quote based on your location. Just let me know where the session will take place, and I’ll send you the details!
How long does it take to get our photos?
You can expect to receive your fully edited gallery within 1-2 weeks after your session. After photos have been selected I will take my time to edit the best images chosen to make sure you receive a beautiful, polished collection. If you need the gallery sooner, I’d be happy to send some within a couple of days with an expedited price!
